Saturday Night Live alumnus MIKE MYERS, who also produced the film and wrote the screenplay, also played the villain, Dr. Evil. Before becoming Austin Powers, Myers played the title role in Wayne's World, a character he had created for SNL. English actress/model/Estee Lauder spokeswoman ELIZABETH HURLEY played Powers' sidekick, Vanessa Kensington. She reappeared in the first sequel, Austin Powers: the Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), but was killed off shortly after the opening credits. Hurley made an alluring Satan in Bedazzled (2000). In recent years she's been busy television acting, seen in Gossip Girl (2011-2012) and Wonder Woman (2011) the TV movie. Slightly creased.
